The qualification most auditors already hold is about to need updating.
ISO 9001 is the standard almost every management system professional starts with, and it has just been revised. ISO published ISO 9001:2026 on 16 September 2026 and withdrew the 2015 edition, and certification bodies expect a three year transition. Everybody currently certified will be audited against the new text before that transition closes, and the auditors doing that work have to understand what moved and why.
This course qualifies you to plan, lead and report a third party quality management system audit. Across 40 CPD hours you work through clauses 4 to 10, then through the audit process under ISO 19011: the programme and the plan, team competence, document review, evidence gathering, sampling, writing nonconformities that survive challenge, and running a closing meeting. It closes with a formal examination.
Auditing a documented procedure is straightforward. Auditing whether an organisation has a quality culture, which the revision asks for explicitly, is a different skill, and it is the part most people will get wrong first.
Every course we run teaches the requirements in force today and the changes coming, so nothing you learn has to be relearned in eighteen months. That is the whole reason to take this course now rather than after the transition starts, when every certification body in the country is looking for the same competence at once.

The new edition is published
ISO published ISO 9001:2026, the sixth edition, on 16 September 2026 and now lists the 2015 edition as withdrawn. Certification bodies expect a three year transition running to around September 2029, with the binding rules set by the International Accreditation Forum. Confirm your own deadline with your certification body, but the transition work has already started.
Quality culture and ethics become auditable
The revision asks top management to actively promote a quality culture and sets a formal expectation around ethical behaviour, extends awareness to cover both, and ties continual improvement explicitly to leadership engagement. Those are behavioural requirements. Testing them takes a different technique from testing whether a procedure was followed.
Climate change is permanently in the context clauses
Organisations have to determine whether climate change is a relevant issue in their context and for their interested parties. After three consecutive seasons in which flooding disrupted Pakistani supply chains, plants and transport, that is not a paperwork exercise here. A blank answer is a finding. A reasoned answer, either way, is not.
Everyone else is still teaching 2015
ISO 9001 is the most competitive training term in this market, and every course currently ranking for it teaches the 2015 requirements alone. Being qualified on the current text and fluent in what is changing is what separates an auditor a certification body keeps busy through a transition from one who has to be retrained during it.

What is the difference between an internal auditor and a lead auditor course?
An internal auditor course prepares you to audit your own organisation as part of its internal audit programme. A lead auditor course prepares you to lead an audit team and to audit somebody else, which is what a certification body or a customer needs, and it goes considerably deeper on planning, evidence, findings and reporting. If you only ever audit your own site, the internal course may be enough. Tell us the job and we will say which one you actually need.
How long is the course?
40 CPD hours in total, delivered across five modules. The final module closes with the formal examination. How those hours are scheduled depends on the format you choose, which is why we quote the course in hours rather than in days.

Yes. The examination fee is included in the course fee. There is no separate charge to sit the paper and no additional certification cost afterwards.

Can I take the course online or at my own pace?
Both. The live online format is instructor led through the full 40 CPD hours. The self paced format gives you the same material to work through on your own schedule with tutor support, and the same formal examination at the end. Very few providers in Pakistan offer a self paced route at this level.
Is the certificate internationally recognised, and can it be verified?
Yes. Successful delegates receive an internationally recognised certificate issued under an accredited personnel certification scheme, and it can be verified independently by an employer or a certification body. Do I need prior auditing experience?
No. ISO 9001 is where most auditors begin, and the course builds from the standard itself. Delegates who already work with a quality system move fastest. If you are coming from production, engineering or administration with no exposure to the standard, tell us before you book and we will give you an honest answer about whether to start with an awareness or internal auditor course instead.
